Read MoreTired, Sluggish, no energy, tummy pain, constipation and re-current bloating are common conditions that can affect our daily lives. The causes may vary and if not treated can often lead to IBS, crohn’s, Gastro Oesophageal Reflux Disease, Constipation, Indigestion, Muscular Tension, Chronic bladder/yeast infections or even a Pelvic organ prolapse. However, how one chooses to treat such conditions will be entirely up to the individual. The secret to the cure lies in getting to the main core of the problem.
The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy assist in preventing the progression of chronic diseases whilst improving the body’s ability to self-repair and re-balance. I practice this technique at my clinic and my clients have had wonderful results to date!
Maya abdominal massage is a gentle external massage that helps guide organs back into their correct positions, allowing them to function more normally. By effectively alleviating tissue congestion and organ constriction, these techniques improve the vital flows of energy, blood, lymph and nerves in the abdomen.
As an advocate and practitioner of Abdominal Maya Massage Therapy I believe that the massage can also help to balance the emotional well being of the body which is just as important as the biological make-up of our body. Everything we absorb in life on an emotional level is absorbed by the body and stored in the abdomen. Hence why when we are anxious we tend to feel sick or experience cramps. So when we focus our energies through massage on that area those trapped emotions become released and in turn we are being healed!
This treatment includes a full consultation and an abdominal-sacral massage focused on aligning the reproductive and internal organs, as well as a massage of the lower back, sacrum and tail-bone and application of a castor oil pack. In addition, you will be shown how to do self-care at home and written instructions for this will be provided.
Warm Wishes
Judith
